Abstract

This study will evaluate the effect of remodeling the fiberglass posts and the type of resin cement used to fix the posts in the bovine roots. Will employ a total of 120 bovine roots with similar size and shape to receive endodontic sealer using the basis of calcium hydroxide. The roots are divided at random into 12 groups: G1- Fiberglass posts remodeling with composite resin and cemented with RelyX ARC; G2- Fiberglass posts remodeling with composite resin and cemented with RelyX Luting; G3- Fiberglass posts remodeling with composite resin and cemented with RelyX U100; G4- Fiberglass posts remodeling with composite resin and cemented with Cement Post; G5- Fiberglass posts without remodeling and cemented with RelyX ARC and G6- posts without remodeling and cemented with RelyX Luting; G7- posts without remodeling and cemented with RelyX U100; G8- posts without remodeling and cemented with Cement Post; G9-Posts cemented together with accessories posts and using cement RelyX ARC; G10- Posts cemented together with accessories posts and using cement RelyX Luting; G11- Posts cemented together with accessories posts and using cement RelyX U100; G12- Posts cemented together with accessories posts and using cement Cement Post. The samples are then tested with tensile strength (N) in mechanical testing machine. The data will be tabulated and then subjected to the initial analysis for the detection of normal distribution and homogeneity between the values obtained. If the values present requirements that enable the use of parametric analysis will be used in the factorial ANOVA (3x4) at 5% probability. Existing differences between the groups, will be employed test comparison of means, Tukey test (p <0.05) to define which groups significant differences at this level of probability. If the distribution is non-standard will be used nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis.
