Abstract

This project aims the development in real scale of the driving and supervisory system applied to an electric vehicle. Considering the vehicle, the project objective is to develop a methodology for dimensioning the power sources (fuel cell, batteries and supercapacitor bank), in a way to obtain the desired vehicle performance, while considering mass, life-time, cost and driving performance limitations. From the electronic system design point of view, the objectives are to design and built the DC-Dc converters for the power sources interconnections, and to implement a suitable supervisory system for coordinating such converters.
