Abstract

The research intends as goal to understand the spaces interactions achieved by users of the inter-city bus station transport. This point remit us, including, to the discussion of spacial mobility achieved by these actors. As spacial cutting we detach Ourinhos’ city and the connections which this city establish on national urban network, for, as we see it, this city reports itself as one of the strategic “knots” in these networks, we mean, knot that expels, knot that negociates and knot that ends bus and train stations’ lines of several spaces at brazilian territory. Located on the frontier with the north area of Parana’s state, Ourinhos links the urban network of São Paulo’s city with the cities’s networks of paulist west-center, north of Paraná, south of Mato Grosso and others. Studying the passengers flows, our research will be able to identify which are the mainly localities of emission and reception of people. Furthermore, we will analyse its motivations, we mean, which are the attributes that lead them to displace from one city to other one. In this case, it can be a familiar visit, health questions (treatment), specialized services utilization, studies, job, religion questions, trade´s utilization, leisure, etc. However, for analysing the theme we need to be aware, we need to have in mind a historic context, we mean, we have to search the transport’s gene and its development, identifying the importance of Ourinhos’s city into the urban Brazilian network. Thus, this study walks in a way of bring to life the researches into the geography’s transport, searching enrich the knowledge about the bus station transport of passengers in Brazil.
