Abstract

A previous research, about the Shopping Santa Úrsula lighting conditions, was developed with a FAPESP Scientific Initiation scholarship (proc. no. 2005/01022-1). In was studied the lighting physical properties, but it, together the Architecture, is very important in the people behavior, and responsible for positive and negative sensations about the space. This research continues to investigate the lighting, not only its physical variables, but the sensations caused by it. Clinics were chosen as study object because in that spaces the people need positive stimulus to help their treatment. For this research is necessary to study: the environment and theirs users, the use of the lighting and the colors and theirs effect in the persons. These items will be studied with post-occupational analysis techniques. The research objective is to establish relations between lighting (colors, color temperature) and its effects (sensations) that they cause in the persons, by contribute with the space quality of clinics, with directions by projects development.
