Abstract

This undergraduate research project has as main target the preparation of a chiral synthetic intermediate to be used in the total synthesis of pirrolizidinic alkaloids, from a chiral Morita-Baylis-Hillman adduct. The latter will be prepared from a natural aminoacid. (AU)
