Abstract

Closer to the body and to the imagination, the language that can be deduced from Spinoza ontology put us in front of the problem of relations between body and mind. How can a word, mode of extension, communicate an idea, a mode of thought, if in our spirit does not occur an interaction between body and soul? At the same time, Spinoza shows us how the development and permanence of a natural language depends on language-use. Developing these elements, the present text aims to establish a solution for the problem of language-use in Spinoza throught the study of his political texts. (AU)
