Abstract

This research analyzes the relation between the cultural heritage and its inhabitants. The sector of the railroad Companhia Mogiana de Estradas de Ferro between the stations Anhumas and Jaguariúna is the case study of this work. This sector is located in Campinas and Jaguariúna cities, São Paulo State, Brazil. The main aim of the research is to identify the implications of the different appropriation forms from the inhabitants on the cultural heritage. The analysis is based on an architectonic inventory and a survey of the appropriations forms of this railroad complex (AU)
