I hold a M.A. and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo, both degrees with scholarships from the São Paulo Research Foundation, and B.A. in Social Sciences from the State University of Londrina. Associate Researcher at the Group for Visual Anthropology Studies (GRAVI/USP) and the Center for Studies in Social Theories, Modernities, and Colonialities (Perifericas/UFBA). I have experience in Visual Anthropology, Anthropology of Southern Africa and History of Colonialism, Decolonial and Postcolonial Studies, acting on the following subjects: artistic production (cinema and photography), urban experience and memory, archives and museum collections, history of Mozambique.
