Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Specialist working with solutions at IAMSPE since 2023, where he also co-advises master's/doctorate students in the institution's postgraduate program. He is a postgraduate professor in the specialization courses in data science for health, management and leadership in nursing, in addition to the MBA in digital health and management. He has been an affiliate professor in the health informatics department at Escola Paulista de Medicina (EPM/UNIFESP) since 2022. He was a visiting professor in data science in health and telemedicine at EPM/UNIFESP between 2019 and 2021. Between 2011 and 2023, he was a researcher in Technological Development and Innovative Extension at CNPq in the area of #8203;#8203;educational technology for health. He has a postdoctoral degree from the Teaching and Research Institute of Hospital Sírio-Libanês. PhD in computing and computational mathematics from USP. Master's degree in engineering from USP, specialization in health informatics from UNIFESP, MBA in Marketing from FUNDACE FEA-RP/USP, degree in computer science from UFSCar and technical degree in computer science from ETEP. In 2003, he founded Cientistas Desenvolvimento Tecnológico, a company focused on the development of computer systems that in 2009 was considered by Sebrae SP as one of the most innovative small companies in the state of São Paulo. In 2007, he founded XBot, the first mobile robotics company in the country for the areas of education, research and edutainment, which in 2011 was one of the winners of the national entrepreneurship award and in 2012 received the MPE Brasil Estadual São Paulo Award for outstanding good practices in social responsibility. He is an ad-hoc evaluator for CNPq, the Pernambuco State Foundation for Science and Technology (FACEPE), the Bahia State Foundation for Research (FAPESB), and a Scientific Advisor for the Mackenzie Research Fund. He has published over 100 books, book chapters, journals, and international and national conferences in the areas of computing and engineering. He has eight patent applications and six trademark registrations. He has coordinated around 35 technology projects funded by FINEP, CNPq, FAPESP, ABDI, and private companies. He has received several awards and honorable mentions, such as the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Brazil 2001 - best article in the Projects category and best student in the MBA in Marketing at FUNDACE in 2006. In 2008, he was a finalist for the Successful Entrepreneur award promoted by PEGN magazine and FGV. In 2009, he became an honorary professor at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana (Buenos Aires/ARG). In 2013, he won the Alexandrino Garcia Award from the Algar Group in the Entrepreneurship category for his work in the area of #8203;#8203;educational technology. In 2016, he received the ABSEG award from the Brazilian Association of Security Professionals. In 2019, he won the Police Technologies Competition (StartPol).
