I hold a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from São Paulo State University (UNESP/Ibilce) and a Bachelors degree in Pedagogy from the Virtual University of São Paulo (UNIVESP). I completed postgraduate specialization programs in Inclusive Special Education at Universidade Norte do Paraná (UNOPAR) and in Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy: Education and Health at the School of Medicine of São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP). I earned a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from UNESP/Ibilce and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP). I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Gifted and Talented Education at Purdue University, USA. I hold a Livre-Docência in Applied Data Analysis from UNESP.I previously served as Assistant Professor (MS-3, Level II) in the Department of Experimental and Work Psychology at the School of Sciences and Letters, UNESP, Assis Campus, from 2007 to 2015. I am currently an Associate Professor (MS-5, Level III) in the Department of Computer Science and Statistics at the Institute of Biosciences, Letters, and Exact Sciences (IBILCE), UNESP, São José do Rio Preto Campus. I am a Permanent Faculty Member in the Graduate Program in Developmental Psychology and Learning (UNESP/Bauru), in the research area Learning and Teaching, and in the Multidisciplinary Interunit Graduate Program in Teaching and Formative Processes (UNESP/São José do Rio Preto, Ilha Solteira, and Jaboticabal), in the research area Technologies, Diversities, and Cultures. I supervise undergraduate extension projects, PIBIC, PIBITI, Master's, Doctoral, and Postdoctoral students.I coordinate the Comprehensive Support Network for Gifted Students (RAIS) and lead the International Research Group on Giftedness (CNPq) (GIEPAHS). I am a Delegate of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC), serving a two-year international term that began at the organizations Biennial World Conference in 2025. I currently serve as President of the Brazilian Council for Giftedness (ConBraSD) for the 20252026 term. I also co-direct the book series Interfaces of Special Education (Fi Publishing, Porto Alegre, RS). I coordinate the Mutual Cooperation Agreement with ANÉIS National Association for the Study and Intervention in Giftedness (Portugal). I am part of the coordinating team of the Latin American Research Network on Giftedness (RILAHS) and a member of the Observatory on School Inclusion Support Networks and Inclusive Education (OIEEI).My research interests include: Applied Data Analysis; Giftedness; Curricular Enrichment; Identification Instruments for Giftedness; and Teacher Education.ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5244-5402Contact: carina.rondini@unesp.br (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
