CEO of @Tech (www.techagr.com). Holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2004). Masters in Agronomy, with emphasis on Animal Science and Pastures, from the University of São Paulo (USP), Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ). Ph.D. in Sciences from USP/ESALQ (2010), with a research internship at the University of California - Davis. Completed two postdoctoral fellowships: the first at Embrapa Agricultural Informatics, and the second at USP/ESALQ. His expertise includes Animal Science, with a focus on nutritional requirements of beef cattle and statistical modeling, covering areas such as bioenergetics, feed efficiency, empirical modeling, structural equation models, and the development of economic, energetic, and environmental models. Since 2010, he has been dedicated to research and development, especially in precision livestock farming and the simulation of biological models applied to agriculture. During his academic career, he was a research fellow of CNPq and FAPESP, having participated in national and international projects. He has published 16 scientific articles and 6 book chapters, with an h-index of 10 on Google Scholar and 250 citations. As CEO of @Tech, he led the development of innovative technologies such as BeefTrader, SmartTrato, Livestock Profit Tool (LPT), PoultryTrader, VirtualVet, BeefTrader Grass, and FishTrader all of which have shown consistent results and received positive evaluations from institutions like FAPESP, FINEP, CNPq, and ABDI. In addition to his work in RD, Tiago is responsible for @Techs strategic management, focusing on governance, entrepreneurship, leadership and talent management, and investor relations. His contributions to RD and innovation have been recognized with more than 10 awards, totaling R$ 1,380,000.00 in prize funding. He supported his research groups in securing over R$ 4 million in project grants during his postdoctoral work and over R$ 16 million for @Tech through venture capital and other funding sources. @Tech plans to add over 30 intellectual property protections to its portfolio in the coming years (currently at 13).
