Retired Full Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), with a consolidated academic and scientific career at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (FCFRP-USP). She holds a PhD (1994) and a Master's degree (1988) in Toxicology and Toxicological Analysis from the same institution. She has significant experience in university management, including heading the Department of Clinical, Bromatological and Toxicological Analysis at FCFRP-USP (2014-2018). In the research field, she led several projects funded by CNPq and FAPESP, with emphasis on coordinating a FAPESP Thematic Project in Clinical Pharmacokinetics in Infectious Diseases.
