She is a Full Professor in the Department of Production Engineering. Since 2000, she has been a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Production Engineering (PPGEP/DEP/UFSCar), Professional Graduate Program in Production Engineering and Operations Management (PPGPEP/DEP/UFSCar) and PPGads (Professional Graduate Program in Administration and Society). She advises undergraduate students, supervises scientific initiation projects, and mentors master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral fellows. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1990), a Master's degree in Production Engineering from the same institution (1993), and a Ph.D. in Business from the University of São Paulo (1999). Her international academic experience includes serving as a Visiting Professor at ESSEC, France (1997-1998), in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee (2009-2010), and as a Senior Visiting Professor at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba, Canada (March to August 2024).Her expertise lies in Supply Chain Management, with a focus on topics such as tecnology, resilience, justice and sustainability in supply chains, and cross-functional integration. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in teaching, research, and outreach activities. Additionally, she has coordinated and executed numerous research and advisory projects. She is also an active reviewer for Brazilian funding agencies and academic institutions both in Brazil and abroad.
