Larissa de Assumpção is a post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil) in the area of German Language and Literature and is currently doing a research internship at the Martin-Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg. She also holds a PhD in Literary Theory and History (2023), a Master's degree in Literary Theory and History (2018), a Bachelor's degree in Literary Studies (2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Languages (2021). Between 2021 and 2022, she spent an academic semester at Freie Universität Berlin's Friedrich Schlegel Graduiertenschule as guest researcher at the Cluster of Excellence Temporal Communities and studied the circulation and reception Carl Franz van der Velde's historical novels. She holds a Master's Degree in Theory and Literary History (2018) and Bachelor's Degrees in Literary Studies (2016) and in Languages (2021). In 2015, she carried out a Research Internship at the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon with the project "Books on the Organization of Libraries in the nineteenth century", under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Vanda Anastácio. At the moment, she is involved in studies on the circulation of German-language books in nineteenth-century Brazil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
