Graduated in chemistry from Univeristy of Bari, Italy and with a doctoral degree in medical biochemistry from the University Hospital of Bari, Italy. Posdoc at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark. He is currently professor at the Department of Parasitology, University of São Paulo. Has experience in protein chemistry with special focus on analytical methods applied to protein on a large scale.
