Assistant Professor at the Department of Computing (DECOM) and in the Graduate Program on Computer Science (PPGCC) at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP). My MSc and Ph.D. are in Applied Computing by the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), Brazil, focused on complex networks, collective motion, and synchronization. During the Ph.D., I had a research internship abroad scholarship (BEPE) from FAPESP, developing projects at the Humboldt University Berlin and Technical University for Berlin, Germany. My BSc is in Computer Science from the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), during which I was a research intern at the Computing Science Center, University of Alberta, Canada, in 2013 summer.
