PhD in Sonology and Creative Processes and MA in Musicology from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (USP). He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Linguistics and Semiotics at the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages and Human Sciences (FFLCH-USP). He served as a Visiting Professor of Musical Perception at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2018 and 2019. He studied Composition at the São Paulo State Music School (EMESP) from 2014 to 2016. Based on the tensive approach of discursive semiotics, his research focuses on Musical Enunciation and performative objects in which musical language engages with various other artistic languages. He also works as a Contemporary Music composer. He was a member of Coletivo Capim Novo, a group of composers, performers, and artists dedicated to research, creation, and practice in Music and Contemporary Art from 2014 to 2024. He has been part of the Semiotic Studies Group (GESUSP) since 2013 and will serve as vice-coordinator of the Semiotics division at ABRALIN the Brazilian Linguistics Association starting in 2025.
