She holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo FAUUSP (2005), a Masters degree (2010), and a Ph.D. (2014) in History and Fundamentals of Architecture and Urbanism from the same institution. She received Honorable Mention at the 28th Design Award from the Museu da Casa Brasileira (2014 category: published books) and the ANPARQ Award for Dissertations and Theses (2010). Currently, she is a professor in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Escola da Cidade, where she also serves as part of the Board of Directors (2019-2025) and as Deputy Director of the Scientific Council. She is the executive editor of the journals Cadernos de Pesquisa from Escola da Cidade (awarded publication by the IAB-SP 75 years Prize, 2018) and Revista América The postgraduation journal of Escola da Cidade (finalist in the publications category at the XI Bienal Iberoamericana de Arquitectura y Urbanismo). She has been a member on the research group CACAL (Cultura Arquitetura e Cidade na América Latina) since its inception (2015). Between 2017 and 2020, she was a representative Council member of IAB-SP at Conselho Municipal de Preservação do Patrimônio Histórico, Cultural e Ambiental da Cidade de São Paulo (Conpresp), a council linked to the Municipal Secretariat of Culture.
