André Varella received his bachelor's degree in Psycholy at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (UFSJ), his master's degree in Special Education at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and his Ph.D. at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Dr. Varella has experience in Experimental Analysis of Behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis, investigating the behavioral processes related to language and human cognition, especially in individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, and developing teaching procedures to establish symbolic and verbal behavior.
