Maria Antonia Calori is Specialist Research at the Laboratory of Mycotoxins and Mycology (LABMIC) - Depto. of Food Science and Technology (LCA) College of Agriculture "Luiz de Queiroz" (ESALQ) of the University of São Paulo (USP). PhD in Food Technology by the University of Campinas. M.Sc. on in Food Science and Technology and Agronomic Engineer by ESALQ / USP. She has been working in the field of mycotoxins since her graduation. She has experience in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on Mycotoxins, working mainly on the following topics: prevention, control and managment of mycotoxin contamination in agricultural products (peanuts, maize, wheat, soy, cereals, etc); effect of processing on contamination, decontamination processes of agricultural products and their derivatives and by-products (ozone), sampling and preparation of samples for mycotoxins analysis, analytical quality control, occurrence of mycotoxins agricultural products and milk, evaluation of rapid tests in the analysis of mycotoxins.
