Paulo Augusto Raymundo Pereira is Chemistry with Master's degree in Chemistry from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP - São José do Rio Preto Campus) and PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos). He is currently a postdoc at the São Carlos Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo. He has published about 60 articles in specialized journals. These papers received about 2689 citations (factor h = 35, data from March 2025). He has experience in the areas of Chemistry and Biotechnology, working mainly in the following subjects: wearable sensors, flexible sensors, electroanalysis, electrochemical sensors and biosensors, nanostructured materials, biosensoring, nanostructured films. Reviewer of 99 specialized journals. He received a prize for best work presented at an international congress granted by the Brazilian Meeting on Inorganic Chemistry (BMIC) and two prizes at a national congress granted by the Brazilian Society of Chemistry (SBQ).
