She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Campinas, as well as a Master's and PhD in Cellular and Structural Biology from the same institution. Currently, she is a lecturer in the Department of Structural and Functional Biology (IB/UNICAMP), where she teaches human anatomy. Her research is conducted at the Laboratory of Nerve Regeneration, where she studies neuron-glia interaction after lesions at the CNS/PNS interface, as well as in vivo imaging techniques of the spinal cor (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
