Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated with a degree in Physics Education from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP). During my undergraduate studies, I held a scientific initiation scholarship in the DETRANES group (Solid-State Nuclear Track Detectors), initially participating in the project Detection of Rn-222 and its progeny in human living environments (CNPq), and later in the project Characterization of polymers used as nuclear particle detectors: PADC (CR-39) and Diallyl Phthalate (DAP) (FAPESP). I was also a member of the Physics Teaching Nucleus, where I taught classes on Radioactivity for public high school teachers. I completed a research internship abroad in the field of particle astrophysics at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. I earned a Master's degree in Astrophysics from the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE), working in high-energy astrophysics and astroparticle physics, with a focus on cosmic-ray veto systems for gravitational wave detectors using Monte Carlo simulations (Geant4). I hold a Ph.D. in Science from the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics at UNICAMP, where I specialized in ultra-high-energy cosmic rays, focusing on the study and detection of the muonic and electromagnetic components of extensive air showers, within the context of the Pierre Auger Observatory. During my doctoral studies, I undertook a research internship at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, where I worked with radio detection techniques to study the chemical composition of cosmic rays. I have served as a collaborating professor and researcher at the Faculty of Science and Technology at UNESP (Presidente Prudente campus), working in nuclear and particle physics applied to materials science and geochronology. I also worked as a researcher in astroparticle physics at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (IFSC-USP) and was a member of the Pierre Auger Observatory collaboration, the worlds largest cosmic-ray observatory. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (USP), and a member of the international collaborations Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO), Latin American Giant Observatory (LAGO), and Southern Wide-field Gamma-ray Observatory (SWGO). I also serve as a collaborating professor in the Graduate Program in Physics at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
