Graduated in Biological Sciences from the School of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (USP/FFCLRP) in 1992. Obtained a Master's degree (1996) and a Ph.D. (2002) in Sciences, with an emphasis in Cell and Tissue Biology, from the University of São Paulo. Earned the title of Associate Professor in Histology from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) in 2009. Currently holds the position of Full Professor of Histology in the Department of Structural and Functional Biology at the Institute of Biosciences of Botucatu UNESP (since 2023). Has extensive experience in experimental models applied to skin wound healing, with an emphasis on the use of natural products. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
