Post-Doctorate in Semiotics at the University of Limoges (France), PhD in Linguistics and Portuguese Language at Unesp Araraquara (Brazil), Master's degree in Language and Literature at Londrina State University (Brazil) and Bachelor's in Social Communication: Journalism at Unesp Bauru (Brazil). Associate Professor of Semiotics and Historiography of Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics, Literature and Classics and in the Graduate Program in Linguistics and Portuguese Language of the School of Humanities and Sciences (Faculdade de Ciências e Letras) of the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Araraquara campus, of which was also the Dean in the quadrennium 2021-2025. Level 2 CNPq Researcher and head of the Semiotics Research Group of Unesp (GPS-Unesp). Author and translator of several scientific publications, developing research on history and epistemology of Semiotics. Vice-coordinator of the Semiotics WG of the Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Letras e Linguística (ANPOLL) in the biennium 2010-2012, integrated the Commission of the Field of Humanities of PROPe/Unesp (2011-2015), was treasurer of the Romance Federation of Semiotics (2015-2019) and president of the Brazilian Association for Semiotic Studies (2017-2023).
