Graduated in Biology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, MSc and PhD.in Social History at the Sao Paulo University (USP). I work as a researcher (Pq-B) and I coordinated the Graduation course in Science Journalism at the State University of Campinas (2019-2023, UNICAMP). I also teach at the MSc in Science and Cultural Communication at Unicamp and I was the editor of Ciência e Cultura magazine and ComCiência magazine, both published by the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (SBPC) in Brazil. I am a member of the Scientific Committee of the PCST Network, was a member of the Board of the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (ABEC 2020-2022, 2022-2024), is part of the ABEC Brasil Council, an interim member of the Latin American Science Editors Association (ALAEC) board and one of the founders, part of the Council of the Ocean Decade in Brazil, and has a Productivity Grant from the Brazilian Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). She coordinates the Collaboration Network to Communicate the Ocean - Ressoa Oceano and the podcast Ecoa Maloca.
