Abstract

We synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) coating with poly(allylamine) hydrochloride (PAH), which we named as Ag@PAH. While, the Ag core provides the SERS signal, the PAH shell helps enhancing the signal due to molecular trapping by swelling and deswelling according to pH medium. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V.
