Abstract

Abstract Based on the language and education sciences, this article aims to analyze discursive elements that reveal the construction of emerging teaching identities through the written production of undergraduate trainees required to visit schools as part of their curriculum. Our work is anchored in literacy studies as well as on the Bakhtinian approach to discourse. Regarding higher-education teacher training, we decided to work with narratives of trajectories on teaching. It is a participatory, qualitative and interpretative research. In one of the results, we emphasize the fact that the trainees’ written production can bring about questions on teacher training. The contents of their statements make it clear how the saying of others affects the subjects in classroom situations. We tried to add clues and evidence on teacher training processes at the university level. (AU)
