Abstract

We report the synthesis of s mixture of single-walled (SWNT) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNT) by arc discharge in H3VO4 aqueous solution using pure graphite electrodes. This communicatoin describes the first success to obtain SWNTs by arc in water environment. (AU)
