Abstract

Angular distributions for elastic scattering of radioactive B-12 projectile on Ni-58 target have been measured for the first time. They were obtained at two energies, E-Lab = 30.0 and 33.0 MeV, close to the Coulomb barrier. These angular distributions were analyzed with the conventional optical model using Woods-Saxon shape and double-folding Sao Paulo potentials. The total reaction cross sections were extracted from this analysis and compared with other similar masses systems. (AU)
