Abstract

In the last two decades, many advances have been made in quantum information and integrated photonics that helped to push the boundaries of both fundamental science and cutting edge technology research. In recent years, there has been an increasing intersection between those two research areas, resulting in the emerging field of integrated quantum photonics. The main objective of this project is to carry out research in the field of integrated quantum photonics focusing in the experimental preparation of squeezed, entangled and single photon states using thin films of silicon nitride and lithium niobate, two scalable and integrated photonic platforms. This work is will also contribute to further develop micro fabrication in the State of São Paulo. (AU)
