Alteration in gene expression and immune response in pigs supplemented with É-3 and É-6 biofortified milk

Abstract

The biggest health-related lipid-related problems are: high intake of trans and saturated fatty acids, and high food intake with a high É-6 / É-3 ratio, leading to problems such as diabetes, atherosclerosis, cancer, obesity and disease autoimmune. Therefore, the inflammatory profile of some lipids are correlated with these diseases, and for this reason studies have been trying to show the anti-inflammatory role of É-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. The difficulty lies in the optimal amount, the different sources, and the intake of other foods in the common diet, for different reasons. Thus, proving the benefits of naturally enriched milk with É-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, with the reason achieved in this study, it is possible to make a new product available. In most of the reviewed studies, species are induced to a problem to verify the behavior of the organism against it. In this study the aim is to see the effects caused by a long period of milk supplementation with the lipid profile considered most beneficial, emphasizing that the animals were from the post weaning phase until the lactation phase, receiving supplementation with biofortified milk, representing all physiological phases of the life cycle.
