Abstract

The resource made available by FAPESP in the form of the Technical Reserve associated with research projects submitted and approved by professors at the Faculty of Food Engineering/UNICAMP in 2022 was R$127,593.98. The objective of this ANNUAL RTI APPLICATION PLAN - 2023/2022 is to forward the proposal for application of this resource as approved by the Congregation of the Faculty of Food Engineering-UNICAMP, in its 209th Ordinary Meeting held on 10/27/2023, and in accordance with the standards established by FAPESP. The resource will be applied to the purchase of filter kit for type I water purifier, MEV preventive maintenance, Aqualab VSA annual calibration, Turbiscan preventive maintenance and calibration and DUMAS VELP NDA 701 preventive maintenance, all installed in the Central Support Laboratory (LAC) of the Faculty of Food Engineering. Furthermore, it is intended to purchase filters for water purifiers to serve the majority of DECAN and DETA laboratories with the remaining resources. The LAC is a multi-user laboratory, linked to the FEA Research and Extension Coordinators and its objective is to provide technical support to research activities developed at FEA/UNICAMP and provide services to external users, including other Unicamp units, public research institutions and private companies, companies and government bodies. FEA currently has five Postgraduate Programs and 50 professors, in addition to collaborating researchers, who serve approximately 500 postgraduate students, in a total built area of 19,546 m2, of which 12,500 m2 are research laboratories. In the last CAPES evaluation, the Postgraduate Programs in Food Science and Food Engineering obtained a score of 7, while the Postgraduate Programs in Food Technology and Food and Nutrition obtained scores of 5 and 6, respectively. The Doctorate in Bioenergy, from the Multidisciplinary Area of CAPES (USP, UNESP and UNICAMP) was evaluated with a grade of 4. It is worth highlighting that FEA has an Institutional Support Office for Researchers (EAIP) and that UNICAMP has an Institutional Policy on Good Practices and Integrity in Research and Open Access to Intellectual and Scientific Production.
