Abstract

Phase I: assessment, by means of workshops, of the level of literacy of undergraduate indigenous students; 2. workshops with the participation of indigenous students for simulating a testing related to the zone of proximal development; 3. participation in the II Symposium "Language and Diversity" (DL/UFSCar); 4. visit to IEL/UNICAMP for the discussion of research projects with participants of the Research Group "Letramento do Professor" (CNPq); Phase II: 1. visit to an indigenous community in "Alto Rio Negro": workshops involving indigenous subjects; assessing the level of literacy in indigenous schools; assessing the curriculum of indigenous schools and their relevance to the rules (MEC) related to indigenous school education; 2. workshops involving indigenous teachers: emphasis on the concepts of activity and zone of proximal development. Phase III: 1. Partial analysis of data: 2. participation in the III Symposium "Language and Diversity"; 3. discussion of research Master and Doctorate projects of the Research Group "Studies in language, ethnicity and style" (CNPq); 4. symposium involving participants of CAPES Project (001/2009) "Observing Indigenous School Education" nucleus UFSCar, with the discussion of undergraduate, Master and Doctorate Projects supervised by the professors Clarice Cohn and Maria Sílvia Cintra Martins; 5. co-advising of research projects in the Department of Languages of UFSCar - the projects involved are supported by FAPESP and CAPES;6. co-participation in research and in advising in the CAPES Project of Indigenous School Education - UFSCar Nucleus.
