Abstract

The proposal to bring Dr. Cleusa Ferri as Visiting Researcher's is her potential contribution in the data analysis of the research project "Patterns of domestic violence and alcohol use among women: effectiveness of a brief intervention in the home environment" (FAPESP10/51837-0). This project encompasses the doctoral scholar of Carla Gebara FAPESP (FAPESP 10/51094), which will be much benefited in their training, with the stay of Dr. Cleusa in Brazil. In parallel, the researcher should act as co-supervisor of Emérita S Opaleye and Carla R Zuqueto, the Pos-Graduate Program at Psychobiology Department, with emphasis on multivariate statistical analysis and writing of scientific papers. It should also help in writing articles relating to FAPESP 07/59906-8 project, which was also centered on the relationship between alcohol consumption and violence. The Visiting Researcher will offer the course "Measures in Mental Health" and should contribute to three research projects of the Department of Psychiatry of UNIFESP. (AU)
