Abstract

Dr. Judith E. Winston's visit is fundamental to continue our 10-years collaboration with her especially in the current stage of our research, in which several co-authored manuscripts are being initiated and/or finalized. During the visit of Dr. Winston (October - December of 2012), we aim to finalize several studies on bryozoans related to five research projects, three of them funded by FAPESP. Focusing on collections available at the Center of Marine Biology and Museum of Zoology, both from USP, a great number of taxa occurring in the western South Atlantic will be revised, and several manuscripts shall be published, among other activities.
