Evaluation of materials, instruments and protocols of irrigation used in Endodontic treatment, by means of scanning electron microscopy and micro analysis of x-ray.

Abstract

The project will examine by means of scanning electron microscopy and micro-analysis of X-rays, materials, instruments and protocols of irrigation used in endodontics, being divided into 3 subprojetos. The subproject 1 will clarify the clinical some doubts, such as, what is the reason for the darkening of white MTA, as well as if the addition of other components in powder and liquid can improve their properties as well as the Portland cement, aiming at the development of a new material. The second subproject should seek clarification about the possibility of using the instruments ProTaper F2 and Twisted file 25/.08 in a new cinematics of canal preparation, the Reciprocal movement, since the systems and Reciproc Wave one, recommend the use of his instrument only once, which is more expensive to the endodontic treatment.It will be evaluated the quality of preparation and the deformation and clean of the instruments after the use at the preparation and a cleanless protocol of instruments. The third subproject will analyze the different protocols of irrigation in the elimination of biofilm and the removal of smear layer, testing the peracetic acid in replacement to the EDTA and also the effect of ultrasonic agitation, thus providing a protocol to be used by the clinician, favoring a greater cleaning of the root canals, better shutter and success of the endodontic treatment.
