Abstract

This project purposes the formation, at School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of USP, a nucleus of scientific education with the aim to develop and offer activities of education, research and extension, as well as divulgation and popularization of science, with support of 'Estação Ciência', and based on partially in its materials, installations and experiences. This nucleus will have to mainly reach the community of the east region of the São Paulo city, beyond contributing for the formation of human resources in Science Education, in graduate level, currently, with perspectives to also enclose postgraduate in a next future. This project has innovative characteristics in Science Education, as it has the participation of teachers and researchers of all areas of Nature Sciences (Universe, Land and Life Sciences, Physics and Chemistry), beyond Mathematics and Education, all of them working in a narrow relation, searching the interdisciplinary in the implantation of the new course 'Graduating in Nature Sciences' of EACH-USP.
