Abstract

This Multi-equipment project aims the installation of an Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatograph coupled to a Photodiode Array and Fluorescencen Detector (UPLC-DAD-FLD) in an institutional space (Institute of Chemistry, UNICAMP) to attend the thematic project entitled "RESIDUES OF VETERINARY DRUGS IN THE ENVIRONMENT" (FAPESP 2013/09543-7), as well as other projects of researchers from the internal and external community of the Institute of Chemistry, UNICAMP.In recent years, ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) has replaced high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) in research and industrial laboratories, since this system allows the chromatograph to work with higher efficiency in a wider range of linear velocity, flow rate and compression, leading to a higher separation efficiency combined with a gain of detectability and lower solvent consumption and analysis time. The photodiode array detectors and fluorescence in series allows the detection of a variety of molecules. Thus, the required equipment has a wide application in various areas of technological sciences, and health and technology. The analytical versatility of the equipment must meet the needs of many research groups and specially the research group of the tematic project which aims to evaluate the environmental impact of veterinary drugs in the environment.
