Abstract

The Ultrafast Spectroscopy Laboratory at the University of Campinas has been working on understanding electronic dynamics in a series of novel optical materials including semiconductor nanomaterials, and graphene. These studies are part of a Young Investigator Project funded by FAPESP and under the responsibility of Prof. Lazaro A. Padilha. Prof. Guo, from the University of Rochester (USA) is an internationally known researcher expert on light matter interaction at high intensities, femtosecond lasers, and ultrafast and nonlinear optical spectroscopy, who could add substantial knowledge to our projects, and serve as a strong collaborator. This proposal aims the financial support for the visit of Prof. Guo as a Visiting Researcher for a period of 3 months, beginning in May 1st, 2016 and extending to Juy 31st, 2016. (AU)
