Abstract
The study of the magnetic properties of multifunctional materials allows for a wide variety of applications, in particular for the processing and storage of information, and in this sense, producing multiphase materials that combine ferromagnetic and ferroelectric properties simultaneously extended the prospects for this purpose. In addition, oxide materials, doped or not with transition or terra-rare elements, and ferromagnetic conductive polymers open the perspective of developing new devices. Thus, the present research project involves two classes of different materials: magnetic oxides, multiferroic composite materials. It will be investigated semiconducting oxides, such as SnO2 / CeO2 and SnO2, multiferroic composites of (1-x) Pb2 / 3 (Mg1 / 3Nb2 / 3) -xPbTiO3 (PMN-PT) and Pb (Zr0,52 Ti0,48) O4 (PZT ) with the magnetic phases of cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4 or CoFO) and of nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4 or NFO) that will be investigated in order to understand the processes involved in its magnetic properties, from experimental investigations and application of phenomenological models developed by the group itself.
