Public universities, as social institutions, must spread inclusive actions - amid that, those destined to people with disabilities. However, current societies have favored patterns which value productivity and perfection, rather than the respect to the difference. In different contexts, it is still common to recognize several achievements in legal terms; however, excluding precepts and actions are equally present in social relations and discourses, strictly placing the disability in the organism which has it. Then, this network research aims to: (a) portray how the disability is described and understood in four distinct university contexts; (b) identify how Brazilian, Portuguese, Cuban and Spanish university students position themselves in the face of utterances which portray different concepts of disability, from the applying of the Disability Concept Scale (ECD); (c) compare results obtained among students of the different participant universities (Unesp, UFSCar, University of Algarve/Portugal, University of Holguín/Cuba, University of Seville/Spain e University of Barcelona/Spain); (d) analyze relations among choices of positioning according to some variables, such as: area of practice and/or training; attended course; enrollment period (freshman or senior); age and gender among the sample student groups, considering similarities and differences among the participant countries. Therefore, this research will offer perceptual indicators in relation to a numerically significant population segment, mainly with regard to affirmative policies which adopt protective actions on behalf of the human diversity.
