Abstract

The development of screen printed electrodes base on graphite and polyurethane composites is proposed. The hydrophobicity of such material linked to the possibility of automation in its fabrication of a system containing the working, reference and auxiliary electrodes in the same support, makes this proposal attractive. The project will contribute in the evaluation of the electrodes performance in techniques as cyclic, differential pulse and square wave voltammetry. The developed electrodes are supposed to be used in the determination of analytes with pharmaceutical (paracetamol, atenolo, captopril), biological (xanthines) and environmental (Cu2+, Cd2+, Hg2+) interest.
