Abstract

This research project intend to contribute with terminologic studies applied to the legal translations, by elaborating a bilingual Portuguese-French glossary of the employment contracts terms and in order to study the linguistic profile of this terminology. Our researches already count on some information, since they continues with previous investigations. In fact, we have already proceeded with the collection of the most common and relevant terms of employment contracts and the respective terminological datas such as: definition, usage context and others. Now, we intend to work into a bilingual perspective. This research is inserted in a bigger project, the LexTraJu- The lexicon of legal translations, leaded by Prof. Dra. Lidia Almeida Barros, from UNESP de São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil.
