This work aims at contributing to the sworn translators' work by developing a bilingual dictionary Portuguese-French of terms of by laws. In our previous research at Master, we developed a proposal of model of superstructure, macrostructure, microstructure and system of cross references of a bilingual dictionary Portuguese-French of terms of by laws to sworn translators. In the Doctorate research, we aim to develop the dictionary itself. We'll improve the model that already exists, based on a study that will be performed about the morphosyntactic and semantic profile of the terms of by laws in Portuguese and in French. We'll also improve the theoretical study about the sworn translators' primary needs in relation to the bilingual dictionary. Besides, we'll write our own definitions. For that, we'll study the main definition models created by specialists in Terminology and Terminography and we'll search for definitions already done for the terms, that will support us in writing our own definitions. The definicional excerpt and the other terminological data will be stored in e-Termos, a collaborative computing environment in Web, which will make the dictionary available on-line at the end of the research.
