Abstract

A 3D computational code will be developed for the simulation of incompressible turbulent flows involving moving free surfaces. Emphasis will be placed on solving these complex problems by using the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) methodology. All nonlinear convection terms will be approximated by the new high order scheme Eight-degree Polynomial Upwind Scheme (EPUS). The base code to be utilized in the project is the Freeflow 3D. (AU)
