Abstract

This study aims to investigate what has been proposed as a strategy for prevention and containment of bullying in Spain and Brazil, by government policies and by researchers about the subject. In Brazil, a survey of such strategies will be implemented using bibliographic research in journals Qualis A and B, dissertations and theses published over the past five years. Also, we will check anti bullying projects at the governmental levels (federal and state) and / or the Educational State Departments, using an Internet search at official sites, such as Ministry of Education, National Council of Justice and state educational departments. In Spain, to collect the proposals for anti bullying projects we intend to consult databases like Scielo, DOAJ and Redalyc and collect data in the research centers of the "Universidad Complutense de Madrid", the "Universidad de Valladolid," the "Universidad de Sevilla" and the "Universidad de Córdoba", which projects develop or contribute to the prevention and contention against bullying in schools by contacting the responsible researchers. We also intend to consult the Spanish government's Internet sites to check out anti bullying policies implemented. Finally, still in Spain, we will conduct semi structured interviews with the creators of the main anti bullying projects developed in that country. Considering both countries, we will seek to analyze the main characteristics of the anti bullying proposals, to investigate the proximities and differences between them, and also examines the possibilities of adapting the anti bullying propositions from Spain to Brazil. We expect performing part of the research in Spain, by the "Scholarship Stage of Research Abroad."
