Abstract

This project proposes the journalistic dissemination of scientific research conducted by the Laboratory of Exercise Biochemistry(Labex) Unicamp. The group was one of the first to be borned in the country, in 1996, and conducts importants research in sports nutrition and training. Brazil will soon host two major sporting events, the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics, which may contribute to the growing interest on Sport Science knowledge. To publicize the many important research conducted by Labex, we propose articles, interviews and reports on a web page (blog) created especially for this purpose with a weekly update, and at the electronic journal of scientific dissemiation ComCiência. Also, with the offer of releases, will try to get it published in other regional and national medias. The goal is to rise the interest of the public using clear language in the development of texts and the careful choice in selecting themes. As a result, it is expected to contribute to increasing the dissemination of scientific information about the sport.
