Abstract The determination of organophosphates and/or carbamates pesticides in food samples (cabbage, tomato, cucumber, potato, etc.) by two different analytical methods, electrochemical and chromatographic, is proposed. In the electrochemical method, it will be developed and characterized sensors based in carbon nanotubes decorated with gold nanoparticles to be used with square wave voltammetry, in order to maximize the analytical signal (peak currents) in function of pesticides concentrations, in buffer solution with pH approxiamtely 7. In the chromatographic method, the HPLC with UV-DAD detection will be used with the adequated variations, depending on the sample. If necessary, gas chromatography will be used instead. In this stage, several experimental parameters should be optimized. An extensive statistical treatment will be used to demonstrate reproducibility, roughness, sensitivity, selectivity, etc. of the proposed methodology. | |
