Abstract Disregarding the reliance of the cognitive system on structures as precise as the eye and the ear, perception, the cognitive process through whom we capture and process external stimulus, is a potentially manipulable process, who states an awarenesses of the influenceable nature of the human subject. The authenticity of the audiovisual stimulus is abstract and susceptible to pre-production, which means that if we add predeterminations and psychological stimulus (that do not exist in physical form) to the activity of the organs and neuronal transmissions needed to complete a perceptual process, it will take place an illusory phenomena of motion in the which the subject will perceive kinetic activity where does not exist. This type of phenomena is well known in the audiovisual field, since is the base of practices such as the animation and the cinema and its study enables the evolution of theories and technologies that favors the contemporary art.In order to know the audiovisual and perceptive limits of these reflexions (inserted into the contemporary artistic practices), I propose this experimental project, which aims to decompose/ (re) build / deconstruct/ (re)create mechanical devices that reproduce audiovisual images (picture and sound). All these interdisciplinary explorations are pursuing, through a technical and poetical intervention, to reaffirm the fictional character of the audiovisual movement and to define the concepts and the most relevant relationships between psychophysiology, art and technology, as well as its importance in the production of images and audiovisual devices.
